Hey Michelle - I have a few questions for you:
Why can't I keep the pie I baked?
Do I get to choose who I share my pie with?
If I paid for the ingredients and put all the effort into it. . . . .
Why can't I donate (voluntarily) a pie if I feel I can afford it?
What if I don't have pie to spare?
And most importantly - how does your husband feel about pie-sharing?
